Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services company, has named Kerry Girlinghouse Vice President of Well Control Engineering.

Girlinghouse has been with Wild Well Control since 2004. In his most recent position he served as a Senior Technical Advisor within the engineering division. Based in Houston, Girlinghouse will lead the engineering division, increasing his role in global well control and prevention and response services.

"Kerry has been an integral part of the success of Wild Well Control and the engineering services division. In his new role, Kerry will continue to build the engineering services we offer and maintain our commitment to fully supporting our client’s needs," said Freddy Gebhardt, President, Wild Well Control.

Girlinghouse graduated from Southeastern Louisiana State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, International Association of Drilling Contractors and American Association of Drilling Engineers.

Kosmos announced that Brad Whitmarsh has joined the Company as Vice President of Investor Relations. Whitmarsh reports to W. Greg Dunlevy, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

"We are excited to have Brad join our growing Kosmos team. His knowledge of the oil and gas industry, along with his proven success in establishing key relationships with the investment community, will be extremely beneficial as we build our investor relations program," said Dunlevy.

Prior to joining Kosmos, Whitmarsh was Manager of Investor Relations at Noble Energy, Inc. He also worked in multiple roles in Noble Energy's internal audit department. Whitmarsh earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Texas.

Rowan announced that Thomas P. Burke has been appointed to serve as the Company's Chief Operating Officer, and Melanie M. Trent has been appointed to serve as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary.

Matt Ralls, Rowan's President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are delighted to announce these two new positions with the Company. I believe Tom's strong qualifications and leadership will help ensure Rowan's continued success, as we seek to further grow and diversify our offshore drilling business. While at LeTourneau, Tom successfully implemented many organizational and operational improvements, and was a key factor in the sale of that business to Joy Global. Likewise, Melanie provided invaluable leadership in our recent divestiture processes and will strengthen both our Human Resources and Information Technology efforts with her strong organization skills. I am confident that these two appointments will be great additions to the strong Rowan management team and look forward to Tom and Melanie's contributions to Rowan's future success."

Mr. Burke, who joined the Company in December 2009, previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company's manufacturing subsidiary, LeTourneau Technologies, Inc., which was sold to Joy Global in June 2011. Prior to such time, he was employed by Complete Production Services, an oilfield services company, as a Division President from 2006 to 2009, and as Vice President Corporate Development from 2004 to 2006. Before joining Complete Production, Mr. Burke held various positions at Schlumberger Limited and McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Trent joined the Company in 2005 and served most recently as Vice President & Corporate Secretary, assisting in the Company's securities, corporate governance and transactional legal work.

Rowan also announced that David Russell, Executive Vice President of Drilling Operations, is leaving the Company to pursue other interests. Mr. Ralls said, "I respect David's decision to pursue other opportunities, but I am very sorry to see him leave. David has been with Rowan nearly 29 years and has been instrumental as a senior executive in the company's success and evolution. His leadership and many contributions will be sorely missed. Speaking for the Board of Directors and myself, I want to extend heartfelt gratitude to David for all he's done for Rowan and wish him continued success in his future endeavors."

Petra Petroleum announced that Christopher Brown has been appointed as Vice President, Exploration and Operations with immediate effect. Mr. Brown has a B.Sc. (Exeter University, UK) and a M.Sc. (Imperial College, London) in Geology. He has over 30 years of international petroleum exploration experience, including a variety of technical, operational and management roles with Shell International, Enterprise Oil and Suncor Energy, where he was the Exploration Director for the North Africa and the Near East Business Unit. Mr. Brown has worked in many different parts of the world, including Qatar, Egypt, London, Rome and Athens. His most recent position was Exploration Director for AIM-listed Aurelian Oil and Gas plc where he was based in London and responsible for the company's exploration activities across 22 licenses in Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria. In 2010, this involved acquiring eight seismic surveys and participating in several exploration and appraisal wells. Robert A. Baker Hughes announced that Adam B. Anderson will be appointed Baker Hughes' vice president, investor relations effective July 1, 2011. In this position, he will be located in Houston and will report to Peter A. Ragauss, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Adam will succeed Gary R. Flaharty, who will assume a senior role in Baker Hughes' supply chain organization effective August 1, 2011.

Biographical Information

Adam B. Anderson, 35, has most recently been the vice president of completion systems for Baker Hughes in the US Land geomarket. Prior to this role, he held a variety of marketing and operations management positions for Baker Hughes in the Gulf of Mexico, the Middle East and the Product Development Center. Mr. Anderson began his career with PES/WellDynamics and served in a variety of engineering and sales positions. He earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Peter O'Brien, vice president and head of the group of financial advisors to the president of OJSC Rosneft, has reached the end of his contract and will be leaving the company.

Over his time at the company (since 2006), Peter O'Brien has made a significant contribution to the development of a number of strategic areas. He supervised economic and planning issues, as well as long-term financing, investment and reporting to international standards.

Peter O'Brien's experience and authority in the investment community played an important role in preparations for and execution of Rosneft's successful IPO, which was highly regarded by Russian and international investors. Since its IPO, the company has achieved its financial targets and been effective in maintaining investor relations, both areas in which Peter O'Brien played a key role.

Before joining Rosneft, Peter O'Brien worked at Morgan Stanley between 2000 and 2006, where he led the CIS energy group and co-headed the investment banking division in Russia.

CAMAC announced the appointment of Edward G. Caminos as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective as of July 1, 2011, and the appointment of Alan W. Halsey as Senior Vice President, Exploration and Production, of the Company, effective as of June 6, 2011.

Mr. Caminos, 48, has been Chief Financial Officer of BPZ Resources since May 2007. From October 2006 until May 2007, Mr. Caminos served as BPZ's Vice President - Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Caminos served as BPZ's interim Chief Financial Officer from June 2006 until October 2006 and as Corporate Controller of BPZ from January 2005 until October 2006. During the 15 years prior to joining BPZ, Mr. Caminos gained valuable experience in the energy sector through various managerial level roles including, Director—Financial Reporting for the Americas Division at Duke Energy, Financial Reporting Manager and, prior to its sale, as interim Controller for Reliant Energy Europe Divisions, and Regional Controller – Latin America for the seismic division of Schlumberger. Mr. Caminos began his career with the international accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick Main.

Mr. Caminos is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration — Accounting, in 1984.

Mr. Halsey, 61, joined the Company as its Senior Vice President, Exploration & Production, on June 6, 2011. Prior to joining the Company, he managed his private investment interests after leaving Transmeridian Exploration in 2008, where he had served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for this company that had producing assets in Kazakhstan and other exploration interests in the former Soviet Union. He joined Transmeridian in 2006 following a short hiatus after taking early retirement from Texaco Inc. in 2002, where he had served for almost 21 years in positions of increasing responsibility that included Chief Petroleum Engineer for Texaco's Latin America/West Africa group in Miami and, most recently, Chairman and Managing Director of the Texaco Upstream Companies in Nigeria. Prior to that time he served as President of Texaco's affiliate in Colombia, South America and as General Manager of Texaco's Angola oil and gas operations. Mr. Halsey graduated from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London with a degree in Oil Technology in 1971 and subsequently worked in Latin America, USA and the North Sea before joining Texaco in 1981.

Hercules Offshore announced officer appointments and provides update on second quarter 2011 activities.

Officer Appointments

Craig M. Muirhead has been appointed to the position of Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Muirhead joined the company in January 2007 as a Corporate Finance Analyst and most recently served as Assistant Treasurer. Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, he served in various finance positions at Cameron International. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

At the same time, Kimberly A. Riddle was named as Vice President Human Resources. Ms. Riddle will replace Lisa W. Rodriguez, who announced her retirement from the Company in April 2011. Ms. Riddle has been with the Company since March 2008, and served in Human Resources as the Compensation Manager. Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, Ms. Riddle served as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and has over 20 years of experience in human resources, specializing in compensation management. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Houston.

Second Quarter 2011 Updates

On May 13, 2011, the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Delta Towing LLC ("Delta Towing"), entered into an asset purchase agreement with Crosby Marine Transportation, LLC ("Crosby Marine"), by which Delta Towing sold to Crosby Marine, and Crosby Marine acquired from Delta Towing, substantially all of Delta Towing's assets and certain liabilities for aggregate consideration of $30 million in cash. In addition, the Company retained the working capital of the business, which was valued at approximately $6.3 million, as of April 30, 2011. As a result of this sale, the Company expects to record a non-cash impairment charge of approximately $13 million during the second quarter of 2011 related to the write-down of the Delta assets included in the sale to fair value less costs to sell.

On May 16, 2011, the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TODCO Mexico, Inc. initiated the permanent importation of Rig 3 and related equipment and spares into Mexico, at a net cost of approximately $8 million, which will impact second quarter 2011 financial results. Rig 3 is currently operating under a contract with PEMEX Exploracion y Produccion.

John T. Rynd, Chief Executive Officer and President, stated, "We are very fortunate that Craig and Kim have moved into their new roles at Hercules Offshore. They have been valuable assets to the Company and we look forward to the continued contributions and leadership they will bring to our organization."

"We have continued to seek opportunities to divest of non-core assets and I am pleased that we have completed the sale of the Delta Towing assets. Crosby Marine is a premium operator and we look forward to working with them in the future. Furthermore, we believe the permanent importation of Rig 3 into Mexico will allow us the opportunity to participate in multi-year contracting opportunities."

Lufkin Industries, Inc. on Thursday announced that Alejandro "Alex" Cestero has been named Vice President and General Counsel for the Company, effective May 9, 2011. The Company's current General Counsel, Paul Perez, will stay on as Lufkin's Corporate Secretary until his planned retirement later this year.

"In addition to his professional background as a General Counsel, Alex also has extensive international finance and operations experience within the oil and gas industry.

Mr. Cestero most recently served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary for Seahawk Drilling, Inc., a publicly traded offshore oil and gas drilling company. Seahawk Drilling was spun off from Pride International in 2009, where Cestero served in various positions within the general counsel's office since 2002. Prior to Pride International, he was an attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani, L.L.P. and Vinson & Elkins, L.L.P. Cestero has a J.D. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. and B.A. from Rice University.
