Peter O'Brien, vice president and head of the group of financial advisors to the president of OJSC Rosneft, has reached the end of his contract and will be leaving the company.

Over his time at the company (since 2006), Peter O'Brien has made a significant contribution to the development of a number of strategic areas. He supervised economic and planning issues, as well as long-term financing, investment and reporting to international standards.

Peter O'Brien's experience and authority in the investment community played an important role in preparations for and execution of Rosneft's successful IPO, which was highly regarded by Russian and international investors. Since its IPO, the company has achieved its financial targets and been effective in maintaining investor relations, both areas in which Peter O'Brien played a key role.

Before joining Rosneft, Peter O'Brien worked at Morgan Stanley between 2000 and 2006, where he led the CIS energy group and co-headed the investment banking division in Russia.

The Rosneft management would like to thank Peter O'Brien for his productive work at the company and wishes him further career success.

Hardy O&G announced that its Finance Director, Dinesh Dattani FCA will be leaving the Company on August 31, 2011 to return to his permanent residence in Calgary, Canada.

Mr. Dattani joined Hardy as Finance Director in July 2007. He led the process to transfer Hardy's listing from AIM to the main market of the London Stock Exchange, completed a number of successful equity financings and led the finances and admin activities in Hardy's London headquarters.

Hardy has considerable financial and tax expertise in Chennai, India where many of the Company's Corporate and Financial functions will be transferred.

Commenting on the impending departure, Mr. Paul Mortimer, Chairman said, "We would like to thank Dinesh for his considerable contributions to Hardy over the past four years. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in advancing a number of our strategic objectives. We will be sorry to see him go and we wish him every success in the future."

CNOOC announced that Mr. Fu Chengyu has resigned as Chairman of the Board and non-executive director of the Company. Mr. Wang Yilin has been appointed as new Chairman of the Board and non-executive director of the Company. The aforementioned changes become effective from today.

Mr. Wang Yilin, the newly appointed Chairman of the Company commented, "With joint efforts of the Board, the management team and the entire staff, CNOOC Limited has grown into an outstanding company. In this new role, I will fulfill my duty with my best endeavor, to enhance the company's capability of value creation and sustainable growth. Meanwhile, on behalf the Board, I would like to thank Mr. Fu for his exceptional contribution to the development of CNOOC Limited."

Mr. Yang Hua, the Vice Chairman and CEO of the Company said, "Mr. Wang Yilin has abundant experiences in the oil and gas industry in China. With his leadership we will work more closely together to bring more value to our shareholders."
