Canadian Spirit Resumes Completion Prog. at Montney Wells

- Canadian Spirit Resumes Completion Prog. at Montney Wells

Wednesday, June 22, 2011
Canadian Spirit Resources Inc.

Canadian Spirit (CSRI) announced that the spring road bans have been removed in the Farrell Creek area in northeastern B.C. enabling Canbriam Energy BC Partnership ("Canbriam"), operator of the Farrell Creek Montney joint venture, to begin preparations for additional drilling and development in the second half of 2011.

The capital program will resume with the fracture stimulation and testing of two previously drilled upper Montney horizontal wells at the c-45-I/94-B-1 and c-B18-I/94-B-1 locations on the western portion of the Farrell Creek joint venture lands. Upon completion, the two wells will be tied-into the Farrell Creek gas facility resulting in five Montney wells on production. One upper and two lower Montney horizontal wells are currently flowing gas into the facility. A short lateral to connect the c-45-I well to existing infrastructure has received regulatory approval with construction to begin shortly.

The joint venture is also moving a portion of its planned capital program to its east Farrell Creek lands to test the potential for natural gas liquids in this area. The program will begin with the drilling and testing of a vertical well during the third quarter of 2011. Other Montney operators in the area appear to have indications of natural gas liquids and one has announced that they will invest in the refrigeration equipment required for extraction of the liquids.

Well Completion Prog. Underway at American Petro-Hunter's N. Oklahoma Proj.

- Well Completion Prog. Underway at American Petro-Hunter's N. Oklahoma Proj.

Tuesday, June 14, 2011
American Petro-Hunter Inc.

American Petro-Hunter advised that the well completion program is fully underway and that production testing of the Mississippi oil formation is currently ongoing at the recently drilled NOM1H Horizontal well at the Company's growing North Oklahoma Project. The well is being readied and prepared for the onset of commercial production.

The completion phase of the well, including swab and production testing, is being undertaken in combination with the immediate installation of long term production facilities including a pumping unit, tank battery, ancillary metering and electrical equipment on the lease. The determination to rapidly move forward and complete the production facilities was based on a confident expectation that the Company will be generating oil sales from the lease near the end of June or early July.

A decision to move ahead with a full completion program was initiated when NOM1H reached the engineered T.D. of the 1,600 foot horizontal leg with excellent oil and gas shows encountered in the form of strong oil fluorescence; gassy oil shows and gas kicks along the drilled lateral. Subsequent results have offered continued favorably trending data, and as such, have reinforced the Company's expectations for viable commercial production at the lease.

The NOM1H well is the first of a planned series of horizontal wells designed to test and develop oil and gas in the 100 foot thick limestone Mississippi Formation.

El Paso Corp. to Solely Develop Eagle Ford Play

El Paso Corp. to Solely Develop Eagle Ford Play

Thursday, April 14, 2011
El Paso Corp.

El Paso Corporation has decided to develop its Eagle Ford Shale program without a partner. This decision follows an extensive evaluation of proposals from potential partners.

"While interest in our Eagle Ford shale position was high, we believe that we will create greater value for shareholders by developing it
ourselves," said Brent Smolik, president of El Paso Exploration & Production Company. "The Eagle Ford shale program is one of our most
valuable assets, and we are very excited about the future of this program. It is a key resource for oil reserves and production growth;
the wells in our Central area in LaSalle County, Texas are exceeding our expectations, and we continue to drive efficiencies in our
drilling and completion processes as we have in the Haynesville shale program."
