Following Strike's successful $16.8 million capital raising the Company is well positioned to accelerate our USA exploration program.

Activities are now underway on two of the Company's key projects. In the event of success, each has the potential to significantly increase the value of Strike's USA business.

WILCOX SLOPE, St Landry Canyon Project, onshore Louisiana

Strike has a 10% working interest in the St Landry Canyon Project, onshore Louisiana. The 37,000 acre project area contains a number of prospects and is onshore and on trend from McMoRan's Davy Jones discovery, which is estimated to contain up to 6.7 Tcfe of gas and liquids.

The first target to be tested is the West Plumb Bob Prospect which is estimated to have a resource potential of 360 Bcfe including 15 million barrels of condensate (P50 case) and up to 680 Bcfe (P10 case).

The AD Kennison #1 well on the West Plumb Bob Prospect spudded on August 31 and has a planned total depth of 18,100 feet (5,517 meters). Drilling is expected to take 100 to 120 days. Strike has already funded its share of the well's dry hole cost.

EAGLE FORD SHALE, Eagle Landing Joint Venture, Texas

Strike has a 27.5% working interest in Eagle Landing Joint Venture, which has been building a lease hold position within the Eagle Ford Shale trend in Texas. The Eagle Ford Shale has rapidly emerged as one of the USA's most sought after unconventional gas and liquids plays.

The Joint Venture has now increased its lease position to 22,764 acres (6,260 acres net to Strike). Recently reported production rates from Eagle Ford Shale wells adjacent to Strike's acreage have confirmed the extension of the Eagle Ford productive trend. The Joint Venture is planning to further evaluate the acreage through a drilling program over the next six months.

Completion operations are underway on the 4-2-15-33W1 well in the Wapella area of Southeast Saskatchewan in which Gulf Shores Resources has earned a 47.5% working interest. This new oil well offsets the producing 5-2-15-33W1 Bakken oil well in which Gulf Shores also owns a 47.5% working interest.

The rig will now move to the 3-34-14-33W1 location in the Coothill area of Southeast Saskatchewan where drilling is expected to commence within a few days.

Sound Oil announced that its subsidiary Apennine commenced civil engineering works on August 18 at the drilling site for the farm-in exploration well, Casa Tiberi-1, at the Montemarciano permit (75% Sound Oil interest). Drilling operations are expected to commence in the next 90 days and the budgeted cost of the well to the Company is US $1.5 million.

Commenting on the above, Gerry Orbell, Sound Oil's Chairman and Chief Executive said, "Casa Tiberi-1 is the first well that we shall be drilling as operator. The competent person estimated the risk of finding hydrocarbons to be 35% which is relatively low for an exploration well. If successful, the most likely worth to Sound is approximately US $12 million based on the present evidence but I am hoping for the upside which could be worth US $37 million."

Imperial Resources announced that the sidetrack operation to deepen the disposal well at the Company's Green Tide Salt Water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") is underway and on track.

Operations are progressing well and costs are generally as anticipated. A whipstock was set and a window milled in the casing at approximately 2,865 feet. The sidetrack was initiated as expected and the new well bore drilled ahead, turning to 3 degrees from vertical, so as to establish a clear separation from the existing hole.

The drilling program is designed to establish a horizontal separation of approximately 100 feet from the lower section of the redundant well bore after turning vertical. As of 18:30 hours on August 15, 2011 the well was at 3,552 feet drilling ahead toward the target formation at a rate of approximately 30 feet per hour with the aim of casing the bottom 1,000 feet of the well to at least 500 feet into the Ellenburger formation. The well is then expected to be drilled ahead by a large workover rig to ideally create about 2,000 feet of open hole exposure in the Ellenburger so as to maximize disposal capacity.

Subject to success, commercial disposal operations are expected to start immediately targeting full disposal capacity of 15,000 barrels per day as quickly as possible. At full capacity, the Company believes the Green Tide SWDF has the potential to generate significant cash flow at relatively low operating costs.

Field tests are currently underway on Fugro's portable rock properties analyzer, RoqSCAN™, on Forest Oil Corporation's Shannon Estate lease well in Crockett County. The vertical pilot well is being drilled and key formations cored to a proposed TD of 9,500 ft. by Forest Oil Corporation, in the Wolfcamp shale play of the Permian Basin.

"We believe that RoqSCAN will create a revolution in real-time well-site mineralogy, unlocking and unleashing the power of the data recovered from the drill cuttings."

The portable RoqSCAN system, pioneered by Fugro Robertson and Carl Zeiss, analyzes wellbore cuttings and core piece samples in high resolution and generates fully intuitive, highly quantitative mineralogical and textural datasets within one hour of cuttings being delivered to the RoqSCAN rig site unit. The data is captured and displayed in the form of a down-hole log.

Breitling announced that the Breitling-Turner #2 in Hardeman County, Texas is being completed as a possible oil and gas producer after reaching a total vertical depth of 7,900 feet.

The well was subsequently logged by Halliburton and based on analysis by Breitling's engineers and geologists as well as Halliburton's analysis of the Turner #2 logs. Chris Faulkner, CEO of Breitling Oil and Gas, said, "As expected, this well has some great-looking zones that are similar to what we saw in the Breitling-Turner #1 producing well that we drilled 90 days back."

Oilex advised that the first stage of the large volume multi-stage fracture stimulation program of the horizontal Cambay-76H well has been completed successfully and the second stage is now underway.

The fracture stimulation program comprises eight stages with two fracture initiation points per stage. After completion of the fracture stimulation program the well will be flowed to surface to remove stimulation fluids from the well bore (well clean-up phase) and then a flow test will be conducted.

The Cambay-76H "proof of concept" horizontal well is evaluating the production potential of the Y Zone interval of the extensive Eocene "tight" reservoirs in the onshore Cambay Production Sharing Contract ("PSC"), Gujarat, India.

Cadogan reported that rig acceptance and preparations for drilling of the Pokrovskoe 1 well on the Pokrosvskoe license in eastern Ukraine commenced on July 24, 2011. As previously advised the well had been suspended in December 2010 at 5450 meters pending the sourcing of a suitable alternative all weather drilling rig. The Company recently awarded a drilling services contract to Saipem. Target depth is 5800 meters and the Company expects the drilling and preliminary testing of the well to take approximately 60 days.

Operations have also commenced on the work-over of the Zagoryanska 1 well on the Zagoryanska license also in eastern Ukraine. A work-over drilling unit will be mobilized to the location during the first week of August 2011 to undertake perforation and testing operations, which are expected to be completed by end of 3Q 2011.

The completion program comprises drilling out cement and a bridge plug in the production casing, swab testing of the lower Goat Island zone and completion of the Guelph formation using a multi-stage selective acid treatment. After acidization the well will be flow tested over a period of several days to ensure clean up. These operations are expected to take between 15 to 25 days to complete.

Reef previously announced the log analysis on the Ausable #5 well, with log analysis indicating 72 meters net pay of oil and NGL's in the Guelph and A2 formations.

Reef will be announcing test results after completion of Ausable #5 and the details of the next development steps in the Enhanced Oil Recovery - Natural Gas Liquids program in due course. The Ausable reef is currently on production and is generating revenue from the initial program which commenced in 4th quarter 2010.

American Petro-Hunter advised that the well completion program is fully underway and that production testing of the Mississippi oil formation is currently ongoing at the recently drilled NOM1H Horizontal well at the Company's growing North Oklahoma Project. The well is being readied and prepared for the onset of commercial production.

The completion phase of the well, including swab and production testing, is being undertaken in combination with the immediate installation of long term production facilities including a pumping unit, tank battery, ancillary metering and electrical equipment on the lease. The determination to rapidly move forward and complete the production facilities was based on a confident expectation that the Company will be generating oil sales from the lease near the end of June or early July.

A decision to move ahead with a full completion program was initiated when NOM1H reached the engineered T.D. of the 1,600 foot horizontal leg with excellent oil and gas shows encountered in the form of strong oil fluorescence; gassy oil shows and gas kicks along the drilled lateral. Subsequent results have offered continued favorably trending data, and as such, have reinforced the Company's expectations for viable commercial production at the lease.

The NOM1H well is the first of a planned series of horizontal wells designed to test and develop oil and gas in the 100 foot thick limestone Mississippi Formation.

American Petro-Hunter reported that the recently completed NOS122 well is undergoing production testing and appears to be a strong producer and is outperforming expectations to date.

The NOS122 well is located at the Company's North Oklahoma Project. The production test and evaluation phase has been ongoing over the past few weeks with high gravity light oil produced to the storage tank from a 6 foot pay zone. The oil cut has been steadily over 90% with some associated gas. The well has been producing oil at rates in a broad range generally between 50 and 70 barrels per day.

Although a stable daily production rate hasn't yet been established, the Company has been informed by the operator that the pay zone would benefit from a light fracture stimulation which would in all likelihood allow a significant increase in daily rates. The partners are now preparing a simple fracking plan that will be implemented in the upcoming days.

The establishment of a full tank battery and ancillary production facilities is in the final stages of construction on the lease. Currently, oil in the onsite storage tank is being prepared for sale to the local purchaser and inaugural sales are expected shortly. As reported earlier, the partners have identified a minimum of 3 additional offsets to the NOS122 for future development.

Company President Robert McIntosh stated, "We are very pleased at the early test results at NOS122 and to be producing oil at levels that have exceeded our expectations. The plan to stimulate the reservoir and bring on even more oil, as well as our intent to drill additional wells very shortly, is rapidly moving this leasehold into becoming a key component of our growing production portfolio."

American Petro-Hunter has a 50% working interest in the NOS122 and oil is sold to Sunoco, the regional purchaser.

Exile Resources Iannounced that, with partner Valeura Energy Inc. and operator Aladdin Middle East Ltd., it had spud the Company's first exploration well, Bostanci-1, on April 24, 2011 in Turkey. This well is located in the southern most corner of the Rubai License 2600 adjacent to the borders with Iraq and Syria.

"The Bostanci structure is a large surface anticline, with Cretaceous Mardin limestones interpreted to lie within the core of the structure as the reservoir target," said Tony Henshaw, President and CEO, of Exile Resources.

Due to surface location constraints, the Bostanci wellsite is located to the north of the target and will require a deviated well, of approximately 11,400 feet measured depth, to reach the interpreted reservoir level. This is expected to take approximately 70-80 days to drill. Exile and Valeura are sharing equally the drilling costs of the well, estimated to be $6.2 million excluding completion and cased-hole testing. This expenditure would take Exile's equity to just under 29%.

The Ogunduk area is still under evaluation, as the partners continue to evaluate the results from the seismic program and consider other leads on the License area.

Samson O&G advised that operations on the Earl #1-13H to drill out the 19 frac plugs is underway. This operation, which commenced last week, has been hampered by difficult weather conditions, by the stand down of the rig crew for Easter and by equipment breakdowns. The operation is now back on track, however and the first of the nineteen plugs had been drilled as of 0700 hours CST this morning.

Prior to the first plug being drilled, the oil rate from the well for the previous 24 hours was 292 BOPD. After the first plug was drilled, the rate was measured at 960 BOPD over a two hour period, prior to commencing the drill out of the second plug. Neither of these rates is considered to be a conclusive indicator of the well's initial production performance, as this can only be determined once all of the plugs have been removed. Samson is, however, encouraged by the marked increase in the oil rate from just one of the nineteen plugs being removed.

Operations are now underway for 'Test 2' of the four test program to fully appraise the 400m of reservoir drilled in the Karl-101 well. This second test will assess the C14 interval, with 40 meters of perforations over the interval from 3,333 to 3,396 meters, representing around 20% of the reservoir thickness. This interval is known to contain numerous 'reservoir sections' and 'fracture zones' and is therefore expected to flow strongly after perforating, similar to Test 1. For this reason the Company is not planning to acidize during the testing phase, but will defer the acidizing until the well is put on production. The test will involve a 24 hour flow period, followed by a 48 hour shut in to record down hole pressure data. Samples of gas and condensate will be collected during the flow period for analysis.

After completing 'Test 1' extended operations were required to recover the packer and perforating guns from the wellbore, however this was finally achieved and established that all the guns fired as planned. In order to proceed with 'Test 2' the perforation intervals of 'Test 1' have been temporarily suspended below a drillable bridge plug so that the interval can be accessed later for production. Samples of gas and condensate were collected and have been sent for analysis. The down hole pressure recorders were recovered and confirm that a stable flow was achieved during 'Test 1' of 0.5 mmcf/d (14,000 m3/d) equivalent to 108 boepd with condensate. 'Test 1' represented approximately 15% of the reservoir thickness.
