The Green River formation – an assemblage of more than 1,000 feet of sedimentary rocks that lie beneath parts of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, is estimated to contain up to 3 trillion barrels of oil – or an amount equal to the world's proven oil reserves. However, extracting these oil shale resources is expected to require substantial amounts of water and could impact groundwater and surface water.



The U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO) reported that, while U.S. oil shale development could have significant impacts on the quality and quantity of water resources, the magnitude is unknown because technologies are not yet commercially proven, the size of a future industry is uncertain, and knowledge of current water conditions is limited.

Commercial oil shale development requires water for numerous activities throughout its life cycle, but estimates vary widely for the amount of water needed to commercially produce oil shale primarily because of the unproven nature of some technologies and because the various ways of generating power for operations use differing quantities of water.

The thickest and richest oil shale within the Green River formation exists in the Piceance Basin of northwest Colorado and the Uintah Basin of northeast Utah. GAO reported that water is likely to be available for the initial development of an oil shale industry but that the size of an industry in Colorado or Utah may eventually by limited by water availability.

"Water limitations may arise from increases in water demand from municipal and industrial users, the potential of reduced water supplies from a warming climate, the need to fulfill obligations under interstate water compacts, and decreases on withdrawals from the Colorado River system to meet the requirements to protect threatened and endangered fish species," said Anu K. Mittal, director of GAO's natural resources and environment team, in testimony before the House of Representatives' subcommittee on energy and mineral resources in Grand Junction, Colo. on Aug. 24.

Some analysts project that large scale oil shale development within Colorado could require more water than is currently supplied to over 1 million residents of the Denver metro area and that water diverted for oil shale operations would restrict agricultural and urban development. Potential water demand is further complicated by the past decade of drought in the West and projections of a warming climate in the future, GAO noted.

In the absence of effective mitigation measures, water resources could be impacted by disturbing the ground surface during the construction of roads and production facilities, withdrawing water from streams and aquifers for oil shale operations, underground mining and extraction, and discharging waste waters produced from or used in such operations, Mittal said.



About 72 percent of this oil shale is located beneath federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management, making the federal government a key player in potential development of this resource. The federal government through the Department of Energy and Interior sponsors research on the impacts of oil shale on water resources.

However, nearly all the officials and experts that GAO contacted said that there are "insufficient data to understand baseline conditions of water resources in the oil shale regions of Colorado and Utah and that additional research is needed to understand the movement of groundwater and its interaction with surface water," GAO reported. Federal agency officials also told GAO that they seldom coordinate water-related oil shale research among themselves or with state agencies that regulate water.

Interest in oil shale as a domestic energy source has waxed and waned since the early 1900s. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 directed BLM to lease its lands for oil shale research and development. In June 2005, BLM initiated a leasing program for research, development and demonstration (RD&D) of oil shale recovery technologies; by early 2007, six small RD&D leases had been awarded, including five in the Piceance Basin and one in Uintah Basin.

Another significant challenge to oil shale development is the technology to economically extract oil from oil shale. The rock needs to be heated to temperatures between 650 and 1,000 Fahrenheit to extract the oil, or retorting. Retorting can be accomplished either by mining oil shale, bringing it to the surface, and heating it in a vessel known as a retort. While this process is done to a limited extent in Estonia, China and Brazil, a commercial mining operation with surface retorts has never been developed in the U.S. because the oil it produces competes directly with conventional crude oil, which historically has been less expensive to produce.

The other method, the in-situ process, involves drilling holes into the oil shale, inserting heaters to heat the rock, and then collecting the oil as it is freed from the rock. Some in-situ technologies have been demonstrated on very small scales, but other technologies have yet to be proven, and none has been shown to be economically or environmentally viable.

GAO's review of available studies indicates that expected total water needs for the entire life cycle of oil shale production range from about 1 barrel (or 42 gallons) to 12 barrels of water per barrel of oil produced from in-situ operations, with an average of about five barrels, and from about two to four barrels of water per barrel of oil produced from mining operations with surface heating, with an average of about three barrels.

Additional economic challenges include transporting oil produced from oil shale to refineries because pipelines and major highways are not prolific in the remote areas where oil shale is located, and the large-scale infrastructure needed to supply power to heat oil shale is lacking. Average crude oil prices also have been lower than the threshold necessary to make oil shale development profitable over time. The influx of workers associated with such projects, as well as their environmental impact, also are issues.

While industry has focused primarily on overcoming technological challenges and trying to develop a commercially viable operation, "the uncertainties associated with the impacts that a commercially viable oil shale industry could have on water availability and quality that should be an important focus for federal agencies and policymakers going forward," Mittal said.

Colorado Reps. Scott Tipton and Doug Lamborn testified at the oversight field hearing that the Obama Administration has repeatedly delayed and hindered oil shale development to the detriment of local economies, job creators and "American families struggling with high energy costs."

"The United States is blessed with tremendous oil shale resources – and we have appropriately been called the 'Saudi Arabia' of oil shale," said Lamborn, noting that the Western U.S. may hold more than 1.5 trillion barrels of oil, enough to supply the U.S. with energy for the next 200 years.

Dan Whitney, heavy oil development manager for Shell Exploration and Production Company, said that the lack of policy and regulatory consistency from one administration to another makes the investment climate even more risky and potentially untenable.

Gary Aho, representing the National Oil Shale Association, said that industry " needs a clear, consistent federal program and a national commitment to develop oil shale. Access to lands and regulatory certainty are crucial to companies starting a new, capital intensive industry."

Imperial announced that its Green Tide Salt water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") well has now reached a total depth of 8,594 feet, having successfully penetrated the target Ellenburger formation by approximately 1,700 feet. Drilling with the 6-3/4 inch bit has now been completed and the well has been logged.

The well will now be cased to 7,500 feet and the casing cemented in place from a depth of 7,500 feet back up to 5,700 feet. Once casing has been completed the Company intends to drill an additional 350 to 650 feet using a 4-3/4 inch bit targeting several high porosity strands within the Ellenburger formation to maximise potential disposal capacity. The goal is to create between 1,450 feet to 1,750 feet of open hole cutting through known high porosity zones below the casing string.

Additional work will commence on the surface equipment during the course of this week so that once all work on the wellbore has been completed the SWDF can be restored to commercial operations. Subject to completion the SWDF will open for business with the intention of reaching its full disposal capacity of 15,000 barrels per day as soon as possible. At full capacity the Company believes the Green Tide SWDF has the potential to generate significant cash flow at relatively low operating costs.

Transocean Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Transocean, after receiving clearance by the Oslo Stock Exchange, launched its all cash voluntary offer (the "Offer") for 100 percent of the shares of Aker Drilling ASA ("Aker Drilling") for NOK 26.50 per share. The Offer has been made on the same terms as the previously announced voluntary offer, except that it has been made on an unconditional basis and with settlement guaranteed by a financial institution.

The Offer period begins August 26, 2011 and ends on September 23, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. (EDT), 5:30 p.m. (CEST). To date, Transocean and its affiliates have acquired 13.7% of the shares and votes in Aker Drilling, and shareholders representing 59.5% of the total share capital of Aker Drilling have given their unconditional and irrevocable pre-acceptances to the Offer.

The Offer document has been reviewed and approved by the Oslo Stock Exchange in accordance with Section 6-14 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act. The document will also be sent to the shareholders of Aker Drilling, subject to restrictions under applicable securities laws.

Imperial announced that the operation to deepen the disposal well at the Company's Green Tide Salt Water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") continues to be drilled ahead vertically from the sidetrack.

As of 18:00 local time on August 24, 2011 the well was at 5,700 feet drilling ahead toward the target formation. To date no major issues have been encountered. The Company anticipates it will reach a total depth of 7,500 feet (approximately 500 feet into the Ellenburger formation) at which point the aim will be to set casing and cement from the bottom of casing back up to 5,700 feet. Once completed, the current rig will be released and replaced by a smaller workover rig which will attempt to drill further into the Ellenburger formation to reach some high porosity strands within the formation to enable maximum potential disposal capacity.

Subject to success, commercial disposal operations are expected to start immediately targeting full disposal capacity of 15,000 barrels per day as quickly as possible. At full capacity, the Company believes the Green Tide SWDF has the potential to generate significant cash flow at relatively low operating costs.

The Green Tide SWDF is conveniently located for the disposal of large volumes of salt water generated from essential fracture stimulation operations on Barnett Shale gas wells. There are approximately 6,000 such Barnett wells within 20 miles of the SWDF.

Imperial plans to reopen Green Tide to dispose of up to 15,000 barrels of salt water a day. The Company's acquisition and development of the low run-time Green Tide assets and disposal permit is expected to save in excess of $5,000,000, compared to a new build cost.

Green Tide is one of two key projects identified as transformational for Imperial (the other being the Company's Oklahoma project).

Yingli Green Energy (NYSE:YGE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.34, ahead of consensus estimates of $0.27 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 27.4% year-over-year to $680.6 million, topping consensus estimates of $613.8 million.

Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yingli Green Energy commented, "I'm pleased to announce that we had our best quarter ever in terms of PV module shipments, which increased by 36.6% over the previous quarter. With the significantly increased shipments, we managed not only to expand our global market share, but also to extend our sales geographies."

Yingli Green Energy has a potential upside of 60.4% based on a current price of $5.63 and an average consensus analyst price target of $9.03.

Imperial Resources announced that the sidetrack operation to deepen the disposal well at the Company's Green Tide Salt Water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") is underway and on track.

Operations are progressing well and costs are generally as anticipated. A whipstock was set and a window milled in the casing at approximately 2,865 feet. The sidetrack was initiated as expected and the new well bore drilled ahead, turning to 3 degrees from vertical, so as to establish a clear separation from the existing hole.

The drilling program is designed to establish a horizontal separation of approximately 100 feet from the lower section of the redundant well bore after turning vertical. As of 18:30 hours on August 15, 2011 the well was at 3,552 feet drilling ahead toward the target formation at a rate of approximately 30 feet per hour with the aim of casing the bottom 1,000 feet of the well to at least 500 feet into the Ellenburger formation. The well is then expected to be drilled ahead by a large workover rig to ideally create about 2,000 feet of open hole exposure in the Ellenburger so as to maximize disposal capacity.

Subject to success, commercial disposal operations are expected to start immediately targeting full disposal capacity of 15,000 barrels per day as quickly as possible. At full capacity, the Company believes the Green Tide SWDF has the potential to generate significant cash flow at relatively low operating costs.

Imperial announced that, further to its announcement of rig arrival on August 9, 2011, the drilling rig to deepen the disposal well at the Company's Green Tide Salt Water Disposal Facility ("SWDF") is expected to commence drilling operations, slightly earlier than expected, Thursday, August 11, 2011.

The rig is expected to set a whipstock and sidetrack the well to TD over the next 10 days. The aim is to deepen the Green Tide SWDF well from 3,100 to 8,500 feet to establish the well around 500 feet to 600 feet into the Ellenburger formation. Casing will then be cemented from 500 feet into the Ellenberger to approximately 1,000 feet back up the hole and the well then drilled ahead to ideally create about 2,000 feet of open hole exposure in the Ellenburger so as to maximize disposal capacity.

Subject to success, commercial disposal operations are expected to commence immediately targeting full disposal capacity of 15,000 barrels per day as quickly as possible. At full capacity, the Company believes the Green Tide SWDF has the potential to generate significant cash flow at relatively low operating costs.

Statoil has secured consent to conduct exploration drilling in the central part of the North Sea using the COSLPioneer mobile facility.

The consent relates to the drilling of exploration well 15/8-2 in production license 303. The well is located about 250 kilometers southwest of Stavanger. The consent also covers the drilling of a potential sidetrack.

The well has the following geographical coordinates: N 58° 24' 55.08", E 01° 32' 49.89" Water depth at the site is approx. 119 meters.

Drilling is scheduled to start in late July/early August 2011. The expected duration of the activity is about 79-124 days, depending on potential discoveries.

Entek announced the commencement of its Green River Basin work program for 2011.

DHS Rig-18 has spudded the Battle Mountain 14-10L well, which is the first of a minimum 3 well Niobrara Shale Oil appraisal drilling program in 2011. Battle Mountain 14-10L was selected from 7 currently permitted well locations based on close proximity to the Battle Mountain 14-15 well which flowed oil last year against all odds from a severely damage well bore (drilled by the previous operator). Subsequent wells in the program will be located based on drilling results, local operating season constraints and field operational considerations.

Entek holds a 55% interest in the Green River Basin Joint Venture (GRBJV) with Emerald Oil & Gas NL holding 45%. Entek is the Operator of the GRBJV. As a result of continued leasing activity and ongoing lease maintenance the GRBJV now controls close to 80,000 gross acres, approximately 60,000 net acres, covering the Niobrara Shale Oil Play.

The wells planned in the 2011 appraisal program will be drilled vertically to intersect the oilprone Niobrara Shale which can be up to 1,100 ft thick in the area. The wells are expected to penetrate the brittle naturally fractured bench intervals within the Niobrara section that have been proven as porous and permeable reservoirs in offset wells. As an example the Sierra Madre 12-20 well owned by Anadarko which is approximately 8 miles from the 14-10 well, had initial production of around 550 BOPD, has recovered in excess of 355,000 BO and is still on production. In addition, the fractured igneous intrusive reservoirs that are present in this area will be further
evaluated. The Company's Focus Ranch 12-1 well (which was tested in 2009 at a cumulative rate of 240 BOPD and 2.75 MMCFD) has already indicated the potential of the igneous intrusive reservoirs in the area.

The primary objectives of the 2011 vertical well appraisal program are to:
  • establish deliverability and commercial production of the oil prone Niobrara Shale;
  • identify the most prospective Niobrara intervals;
  • gather technical information necessary to design and execute effective fracture stimulation treatments; and
  • select which intervals to target with both vertical and horizontal wells in 2012 as part of the continued appraisal and development program.

The Company is working closely with Halliburton to design fracture stimulation treatments for at least one interval in each well this year with scheduled slots available from August. Initial flow test results from these wells are not expected to be available immediately after reaching total depth and logging. Rather, weekly announcements will be made each Thursday morning where drilling progress, fracture stimulation, testing and completion operations for each well will be updated as these operations will be occurring concurrently across all wells in the work program.

Interested parties are directed to review the Investor Presentation (to be presented to institutional investors from July) that was released to the ASX on July 14, 2011 for further information on the Niobrara Shale Oil Project in the Green River Basin as well as the Company's
update on its recent successful oil discovery in the Gulf of Mexico.

IGas Energy has spud its third well at Doe Green (DG-3). This well is being drilled with the BDF Rig 28.

The Doe Green site located between Warrington and Widnes has steadily produced gas and generated electricity for over two years from a pilot well, DG-2.

DG-3 will be the first well drilled under the Company's accelerated drilling program. The company will update the market on the results of drilling and other activity under the program over the coming weeks and months.

Just six weeks after the plan for development and operation (PDO) for Hyme (ex-Gygrid) was submitted on May 12, the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE) has given the green light. First oil is scheduled for the first quarter of 2013.

The approval was given the same day as Norwegian petroleum and energy minister Ola Borten Moe presented the main elements of the Norwegian government’s petroleum report. One of the areas mentioned in the report was the aim for quicker PDO decision-making processes.

The Hyme PDO is the fourth fast-track development submitted to the MPE this year, following Visund South, Vigdis Northeast and Katla.

"The approval of Hyme in record time shows that fast-track developments now are accepted as an important approach to infrastructure-led discoveries on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). By reducing the time from discovery to first oil by means of standardized solutions, we make small-size discoveries profitable," said Ivar Aasheim, Statoil’s senior vice president for NCS field development.

Discovered in June 2009, the Hyme field is located 19 kilometers north-east of the Njord field on the Halten Terrace.

The development calls for a production well and a water injection well through a subsea template with four well slots. The field will be tied in to existing infrastructure on the Njord A platform, which has idle processing capacity.

Shoal Point has received the preliminary results of a petrophysical analysis from NuTech Energy Alliance Ltd ("NuTech") for the 3K-39 well in the Green Point Shales in the near offshore Newfoundland which has confirmed a thick section of producible unconventional light oil.

Significant hydrocarbon shows were encountered over a gross interval between the surface casing shoe at 400 meters measured depth and current drilled depth of 1745 meters.

The analysis of the 3K-39 logs reflects NuTech's previous analyses of unconventional potential in the Green Point Shales from the Shoal Point 2K-39 and Long Point M16 wells. It shows a similar thick section of hydrocarbon pay and, for the first time, have enabled interpretation of an abundance of fractures throughout the borehole.

This analysis will be updated once studies on core collected in the well are complete and assimilated. Approximately 26 meters of core is being shipped to Houston for 3D image analysis, which will provide valuable information on porosity, permeability and hydrocarbon saturations, as well as images of the internal geometry of fractures. Other core-based studies including rock properties, pyrolysis, and porosity-permeability are being concluded and incorporated in the data set.

A series of open-hole tests are being conducted, prior to completion and stimulation to assess the natural producibility of the formation; these tests are warranted by the high proportion of naturally fractured rock, (seen in core and the NuTech log analysis), the possibility of zones of naturally occurring ("conventional") porosity and permeability and of the presence of oil shows throughout the borehole. These shows include (1) gas chromatography, indicating the presence of liquids over roughly 70% of the drilled section, (2) blue-white fluorescence (indicating light oil) in drill cuttings and cores, particularly after application of a solvent, and (3) mobile, visible oil in fractured core.

Operations have been made difficult by the tectonized and fractured nature of the reservoir and therefore considerable effort and time has gone into keeping the borehole open and in good condition for coring, logging and testing, which has been the principal cause for the delay in operations to date. However, this is a positive sign for the potential producibility of the resource.

The company now expects to proceed to running casing within a number of days and to retain the well for future re-entry and re-completion as a potential producing well.

George Langdon, President of Shoal Point, commented, "Like any first well in a new basin or new play, the operation has met with challenges related to the nature of the rocks. However, the really good news is that, along with very thick matrix pay sections identified now in several wells by our petrophysical specialists, we are seeing a new and important element - pervasive natural fracturing, recognized on various scales - from very fine "spider-web" geometry, all the way up to large scale faults and fractures seen in the field. This fracturing should provide a natural permeability network to complement the artificial stimulation of the formation, which like all resource plays, will be an important part of its development. Operations are continuing on the well to maximize data recovery, and it is expected that the well will be completed shortly."

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) said on Tuesday that it has made a deal with SolarCity, and it is the biggest deal it has ever made. SolarCity will use the Google fund to help finance rooftop installations. Google Inc. is creating a $280-million fund to help finance the rooftop installations.

Lyndon Rive, chief executive of SolarCity said "Google's leading the way and other companies could follow suit...It's not just about a dramatic environmental impact, it's also a good return." SolarCity is known for its lease programs and power purchase agreements, which allow customers to avoid the thousands of dollars of upfront expenses.

SolarCity is Google's first dip into the solar market, but the company has put nearly $700 million into wind farms, solar power systems, and electric vehicle programs. The buses at Google's Mountain View, California headquarters are equipped with solar panels.

Google has a potential upside of 40.1% based on a current price of $508.15 and an average consensus analyst price target of $711.8.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE:YGE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.38 today, just missing the consensus estimate for $0.39 per share. Revenue for the quarter grew 41% year-over-year to $527.31 million, well under the consensus estimate for $573.46 million.

Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yingli Green Energy commented, "In the first quarter of 2011, we experienced a sudden demand slowdown in Europe, primarily due to the uncertainties relating to the feed-in-tariff policy change in Italy and the severe winter season conditions in Germany. However, despite a lower than expected shipment in the past quarter, we remain confident to accomplish our full year shipment guidance of 1.7 to 1.75 GW through continuously optimized global sales strategies."

Based on current market and operating conditions, estimated production capacity and forecasted customer demand, Yingli reaffirmed its PV module shipment target to be in the range of 1,700 MW to 1,750 MW for fiscal year 2011, which represents an increase of 60.1% to 64.8% compared to fiscal year 2010.

Yingli Green Energy has a potential upside of 33.5% based on a current price of $9.96 and an average consensus analyst price target of $13.29.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NDP) has granted Lundin Norway AS a drilling permit for well 7120/2-3 S, cf. Section 8 of the Resource Management Regulations.

Well 7120/2-3 S will be drilled from the Transocean Leader drilling facility at position 71 47' 20.97" N and 20 21' 44.23" E.

The drilling program for well 7120/2-3 S relates to the drilling of a wildcat well in production license 438. Lundin Norway AS is the operator with an ownership interest of 25 percent. The other licensees are Petoro AS with 20 percent, RWE Dea Norge AS with 20 percent, Talisman Energy Norge AS with 17.5 percent and Marathon Petroleum Norge AS with 17.5 percent.

Well 7120/2-3 S is located approximately 30 kilometers northwest of the Snøhvit field. The production license consists of parts of blocks 7120/1, 7120/2, 7120/3, 7120/4, 7120/5 and 7120/6. The production license was awarded in APA 2006.

Wildcat well 7120/2-3 S is the first exploration well in production license 438.

The permit is contingent upon the operator having secured all other permits and consents required by other authorities before the drilling activity starts.

Sonoro announced that further to the previously announced Management Committee approval of the Company's work program and budget for the first year of the license period in Iraq, the Company has now received an investment permit from the provincial governorate of Salah ad Din allowing the Company to proceed with its asphalt (heavy oil) project. This permit allows Sonoro to immediately commence operations and allows for the importation of necessary equipment and personnel. Finally, this permit sets April 14, 2011 as the commencement date of Sonoro's exclusive five year exploration period as per the License Agreement.

Sonoro's immediate objective is the appraisal of its North Salah ad Din resource prospect. This phase includes the acquisition of seismic data and the drilling of three wells to delineate the field size and to evaluate resource deliverability. The Company has recently identified three additional exploration prospects upon which further seismic and well data is being acquired to facilitate further delineation of these prospects.

President and CEO, Richard Wadsworth, commented, "With this permit our team now has the necessary approvals to commence operations and drilling of at least three wells in Salah ad Din targeted for Q3 2011. Our next steps are to finalize our security and drilling program and to tender out for a rig and related services. The fact that we have identified four distinct prospects in different areas of the province in a short period of time provides confidence in the large resource potential within the province."

Samson Tiara has received OPITO approval for its new training facility in Senipah, Kalimantan, Indonesia. This will mark the first time internationally accredited safety training will be available in the area.

The OPITO approval for the Senipah training facility covers 4 courses: Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (T-BOSIET), Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (T-FOET), Travel Safely by Boat (TSBb) and Further Travel Safely by Boat (FTSBb).

Mr. David Donaldson, Managing Director of P.T. Samson Tiara commented, "We are pleased to continue our tradition of being a company of firsts. ATP has received a permit to complete the previously drilled #2 well at Green Canyon (GC) Block 300 (Clipper) in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

"We are pleased that the BOEMRE is confident in ATP's commitment to safe and environmentally sound operations," stated T. Paul Bulmahn, ATP's Chairman and CEO. "The Gulf of Mexico is where we refined our deepwater expertise and we are looking forward to generating further production growth."

The GC 300 #2 well, located in 3,454 feet of water, was sidetracked and encountered a gas reservoir between 15,590 and 15,721 feet total vertical depth in 2006. ATP plans to commence well operations with Diamond Offshore's Ocean Victory in 2011. ATP operates GC 300 with a 55% working interest.

Green Equity has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with a Houston-based private company to acquire a 250-acre oil and gas property located in Nueces County, Texas.

The property contains one producing well and proved undeveloped locations, which the Company anticipates to drill and complete in the next 60 days. Under the terms of the LOI, Green Equity Holdings will acquire the property for a price of $2,000,000, paid for in cash, promissory notes and/or Green Equity Holdings' stock.

"Our LOI is aligned with our new strategy to focus on opportunities within the oil and gas industry," said Raymond Dias, president of Green Equity Holdings, Inc. "We plan to acquire natural resource properties that contain already producing wells or those that can be brought into production in the near-term. We believe the timing is right to acquire oil and gas wells at a discount to the market, and then turn them into productive, cash-generating assets for the benefit of our shareholders."

The purchase and sales agreement is expected to be signed by April 29, 2011, and is subject to the approval of the companies' Board of Directors.
