Sionix Corporation has executed an agreement with Dakota Solutions, Inc. (DSI) for the lease of property in Tioga, North Dakota for the construction and operation of a Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) in the Bakken Shale Formation.

Under the terms of the agreement Sionix plans to design, build, own and operate a WWTF on an 80 acre parcel of leased property near Tioga, ND, the center of drilling operations in North Dakota. Once constructed, this will be the first WWTF of its kind in the Williston Basin. The WWTF will be designed specifically for the treatment of heavily contaminated production, flowback and frac water generated by the rapidly expanding oil and gas drilling activities in the region, and will be equipped with the company's proprietary MWTS products and underlying dissolved air flotation technology. DSI, based in Tioga, North Dakota, owns and operates a fleet of waste hauling tankers for the transport of oil and gas drilling waste water in the Williston Basin region of North Dakota. DSI will transport oil and gas drilling waste to the WWTF as well as treated water back to drillers so that continued draw down on threatened fresh water resources is minimized.

Drilling activities in the energy rich Bakken Shale area of the Williston Basin are in the early stages of development. Drillers in the Williston Basin region of North Dakota currently dispose of their drilling wastes primarily in deep injection wells and continually access fresh water resources for their fracking operations, which is critical to the liberation of energy resources in the shale formation. The Williston Basin has limited availability of fresh water from glacial or bedrock aquifers, ground water resources, and municipal supplies to support drilling operations.

"After months of evaluating available data, we are moving forward with plans to construct and operate a waste water treatment facility in the Bakken Shale Formation," said James R. Currier, Chairman and CEO of Sionix. "We believe the combination of current and projected oil and gas drilling activities, limited availability of fresh water resources, and the absence of a comprehensive waste water treatment and water recycling facility makes this high energy reserve area an ideal location for the installation and operation of a WWTF equipped with our proprietary MWTS. It is expected to provide a critical resource for oil and gas drillers to treat and recycle (millions of gallons of) contaminated production, flowback and frac waste water (daily) without unnecessary stress on limited fresh water resources in the area. We expect the facility will serve not only oil and gas interests but also other industrial, agricultural, commercial and general public demands that require access to the limited public water supplies. With DSI hauling waste water exclusively to the Sionix WWTF, expected contracts with a number of drillers, and anticipated cooperation from local regulators, we believe we will have significant demand for our services."

Using a patented dissolved air flotation (DAF) technology packaged in a mobile shipping container, air bubbles between the size of 1 and 2 microns are injected and float organic contaminants to the surface where 99.95% are skimmed off, and a majority of inorganic contaminants are also captured and removed. The earthquake felt throughout the mid-Atlantic region has not affected regular operation at PPL Corporation's (NYSE:PPL) Susquehanna nuclear power plant near Berwick, the company announced.

Unit 1 of the plant continues to operate normally at full normal power while unit 2 had previously shut down for maintenance and remains in safe, stable conditions.

PPL is delaying the return of Unit 2 to full power as a precautionary measure.

PPL has declared an "unusual event" as a result of the earthquake. An unusual event is the lowest of four emergency classifications established by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for nuclear power plants.

Honda de Mexico (NYSE:HMC), Honda's production and sales company in Mexico, announced that it will build an automobile plant for production of fuel-efficient subcompact vehicles for the Mexican and North American markets.

Honda will invest approximately $800 million to build the plant, which is scheduled to begin operation in 2014. The company is expected to hire 3,200 associates at its full annual capacity of 200,000 units; the plant will boost Honda's capital investment in its North American operations to nearly $21 billion.

Honda Motor (NYSE:HMC) has a potential upside of 37.5% based on a current price of $33.59 and an average consensus analyst price target of $46.2.

Enbridge Energy Partners (NYSE:EEP) announced that it will construct a 150 million cubic feet per day cryogenic natural gas processing plant on its Anadarko gas gathering system near Wheeler, Texas.

The $230 million Ajax plant--strategically located to serve the rapidly Granite Wash play will add much-needed gas processing capacity to the Patnership's

Anadarko system is expected to be in-service by early 2013.

Enbridge Energy Partners (NYSE:EEP) has a potential upside of 25.8% based on a current price of $26.35 and an average consensus analyst price target of $33.14.

Ford is planning to build a second car plant in India. According to a person briefed in the matter, Ford will invest $1 billion in the plant that will employ 5,000 people and begin producing cars in 2014.

The company said in the e-mailed reply to questions, "Ford continues to pursue an aggressive growth strategy in India to bring world class vehicles. As part of its plan to introduce eight new products by the middle of the decade Ford is significantly expanding its capacities in its existing facility in Tamil Nadu as well as exploring other options to meet the growing demand of consumers in India and export markets across the world."

Ford Motor (NYSE:F) has a potential upside of 59.3% based on a current price of $12.35 and an average consensus analyst price target of $19.67.

Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE:TM) said it will increase production capacity at a plant in Indonesia in its first manufacturing investment deal since the earthquake in Japan as the company continues efforts to bring output operations back to normal.

Toyota plans to lift annual output capacity at Karawang to 140,000 vehicles, up from the current 100,000.

Toyota Motor has a potential upside of 14.4% based on a current price of $80.76 and an average consensus analyst price target of $92.4.

Iran's Mahshahar, a specialist oil pipe manufacturer, is in talks with Iraq's Basra Investment Commission to build a factory and warehouses in Basra to provide the Iraqi State Oil Company with custom-made oil pipes.

Head of the commission, Haidar Ali Fadhil, told NINA that the Iranian firm had discussed building the factory and the warehouses under international standards.

He expressed the commission's readiness to provide land for the project and accelerate the license procedures.

Fadhil said that both sides have agreed to hold an expanded meeting with the entrusted Iraqi companies; Southern Oil Company, Southern Gas Company, Oil Pipelines Company, and Southern Refineries Company in order to cooperate and coordinate and provide them with the needed pipes.

Google to invest in German solar power plant



Google (GOOG) announced today that it has agreed to make its first clean energy project investment in Europe - a EUR3.5M investment in a solar photovoltaic power plant in Germany. The transaction still requires the formal approval of the German competition authorities and is subject to other customary closing conditions. The recently completed facility is located near Berlin.

The power plant has a peak capacity of 18.65MW, which puts it among the largest in Germany. Google agreed to jointly invest in this project with the German private equity company Capital Stage.

China #1 In Clean Energy Investment, U.S. Slips Behind Germany To #3



The Pew Environmental Group today released the 2010 edition of "Who's Winning the Clean Energy Race?" The report showed China retaining its #1 spot on the list, having invested $54.4 billion in 2010, up from $39.1 billion in 2009.

Germany jumped the U.S. to come in at #2, investing $41.2 billion, even though American investment increased 51% to $34 billion. The top 3 were far ahead of the rest of the pack, with Italy, at $13.9 billion, and Brazil, at $7.6 billion, rounding out the top 5.

The report also noted that China is the world's leading producer of wind turbines and solar energy units, and that the country overtook the U.S. as the nation with the most installed clean energy capacity in 2009.

Total worldwide installed wind energy capacity grew 20.6% in 2010 to 193 gigawatts, with global solar capacity increasing a whopping 65.3% to 43 gigawatts.
