Fox Petroleum Inc. announced Monday that it is acquiring Renfro Energy LLC and Cameron Parish Pipelines LLC.

Renfro Energy LLC is a Dallas, Texas based limited liability company formed in March 2002 as an asset holding company to house existing oil and gas assets located in Texas, Oklahoma and for acquisitions identified in Louisiana. Since 1995, Renfro Energy LLC and its predecessor company have bought and sold over $6 million of oil and gas properties through approximately fifteen acquisitions.

Renfro Energy LLC and Cameron Parish Pipelines LLC assets are located in the heart of the Johnson Bayou, Louisiana. The Cameron Parish School Board Lease has cumulatively produced over six million barrels of oil since the 1930s.

Terms of the deal are expected in the upcoming days.

Iran's Mahshahar, a specialist oil pipe manufacturer, is in talks with Iraq's Basra Investment Commission to build a factory and warehouses in Basra to provide the Iraqi State Oil Company with custom-made oil pipes.

Head of the commission, Haidar Ali Fadhil, told NINA that the Iranian firm had discussed building the factory and the warehouses under international standards.

He expressed the commission's readiness to provide land for the project and accelerate the license procedures.

Fadhil said that both sides have agreed to hold an expanded meeting with the entrusted Iraqi companies; Southern Oil Company, Southern Gas Company, Oil Pipelines Company, and Southern Refineries Company in order to cooperate and coordinate and provide them with the needed pipes.

Foster Wheeler Clinches Detail Design Contract in GOM

Foster Wheeler's Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a detail design contract by Enbridge Offshore for the deepwater Walker Ridge Gathering System (WRGS) export gas pipelines and the deepwater Big Foot (BGF) export oil pipeline located in the Walker Ridge (WR) area of the Gulf of Mexico.

The contract value, which was not disclosed, will be included in the company's first-quarter 2011 bookings. Foster Wheeler's work on the design contract is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2011.

"We are delighted that Enbridge Offshore Facilities, LLC has selected Foster Wheeler Upstream's Houston-based team for this project and we look forward to delivering a high quality service which fully satisfies our client," said Clive Vaughan, chief executive officer, Foster Wheeler Upstream. "We have performed the detail design of essentially all of the deepwater pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico.
