Atwood Oceanics announced that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a twelve-month contract extension with an affiliate of Coastal Energy Company for the jackup Vicksburg, priced at the current day rate of $90,000 from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012, after which the day rate will be $95,000 until Dec 31, 2012. With the extension, the Vicksburg's firm commitment extends through December 31, 2012.

Atwood announced that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a six-month contract extension with a six-month option, both priced at the current dayrate of $90,000, with an affiliate of Nucoastal (Thailand) Limited for the company's jackup Vicksburg. The option must be exercised by August 31, 2011. With the extension, the Vicksburg's firm commitment extends through December 31, 2011.
