Ford Topped Q1 Estimates, Top Line Up Nearly 18% YoY

Ford (NYSE:F) reported Q1 EPS of $0.61, ahead of consensus estimates of $0.50 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 17.8% year-over-year to $33.1 billion, topping consensus estimates of $30.6 billion.
Alan Mulally, Ford president and CEO said, "Our team delivered a great quarter, with solid growth and improvements in all regions. We continue to accelerate our One Ford plan around the world, delivering on our commitments to serve our global customers with a full family of best-in-class vehicles and deliver profitable growth for all, despite uncertain economic conditions."
