Abraxas Petroleum Corp.

Abraxas provided an operational update.

Rocky Mountain – North Dakota / Montana

In McKenzie County, North Dakota, Abraxas drilled the Stenehjem 27-34 1H to a total measured depth of 16,504 feet, including a 5,965 foot lateral in the middle Bakken formation, and completed the well with a 17-stage fracture stimulation. The well was recently placed on production, including gas (and natural gas liquids) directly into the sales line, and is currently in the early stages of cleaning up and producing at rates in excess of 800 barrels of oil equivalent per day, which is comprised of approximately 600 barrels of oil, 100 barrels of natural gas liquids and 700 Mcf of residue gas. We anticipate providing initial rates (after recovery of frac fluid) when 30-day rates are also available. Abraxas owns an approximate 79% working interest in this well.

In various counties in North Dakota and Montana, fourteen non-operated horizontal wells, targeting the Bakken or Three Forks formation, in which Abraxas owns a working interest are currently in progress or recently placed on-line. Four gross (0.15 net) wells went on production in mid-June, three gross (0.15 net) wells have been fracture stimulated and are currently cleaning up, three gross (0.50 net) wells are waiting on completion and four gross (0.07 net) wells are waiting on a drilling rig. Since January 2010, Abraxas has elected to participate in 19 gross (1.02 net) non-operated wells in the Bakken / Three Forks play.

In McKenzie County, North Dakota, two gross (0.11 net) non-operated horizontal wells targeting the Mission Canyon have been drilled and completed and are currently waiting on production facilities.

Abraxas anticipates being in a position in the near future to discuss long-term service availability to allow a multi-year continuous development plan on its Bakken / Three Forks acreage.

Rocky Mountain - Wyoming

In Campbell and Niobrara Counties, Wyoming, a two well oil development program is scheduled to begin this fall. One of these horizontal wells will target the Niobrara formation and one will target the Turner formation. Abraxas owns a 100% working interest in each of these wells.

Rocky Mountain – Alberta Basin Bakken

Abraxas has been approached by a number of companies in the industry with respect to a joint venture or similar arrangement; however, Abraxas has elected to wait for more definitive results from wells drilled to-date in the play before planning a course of action. Abraxas' leases have a primary term of 5-10 years providing plenty of time to evaluate the results of other operators in the play.

South Texas – Eagle Ford

Abraxas currently owns a 50% equity interest in Blue Eagle, which is a joint venture between Abraxas and Rock Oil Company, LLC.
In DeWitt County, Texas, Blue Eagle's first well, the T-Bird 1H, continues to outperform expectations and is currently producing approximately 1,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day, which is comprised of approximately 200 barrels of condensate, 340 barrels of natural gas liquids and 3.2 MMcf of residue gas. The well has produced approximately 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent during its first 150 days on production. Blue Eagle owns a 100% working interest in this well.

In DeWitt County, Texas, Blue Eagle participated in a non-operated horizontal well with its 43.9% working interest. The well, the Matejek Gas Unit 1, was drilled to a total measured depth of approximately 17,865 feet, including a 3,600 foot lateral, and recently completed with a 14-stage fracture stimulation. The well flow tested at restricted rates in excess of 780 barrels of oil equivalent per day through a choke while recovering frac fluid. The well is currently shut-in waiting on pipeline hookup.

In Atascosa County, Texas, the Grass Farms 1H should spud this week as the rig is currently rigging up. This well is located in the oil window of the play and will be drilled to a total measured depth of approximately 12,500 feet, including a 5,000 foot lateral. A fracture stimulation date has been secured for this well in August. Blue Eagle owns a 100% working interest in this well.

South Texas – Portilla

In San Patricio County, Texas, seven wells have been drilled and completed to-date in the multi-well in-fill drilling program and one additional well was recently recompleted. Three of the new wells targeted the dual objectives of the 7,400 and 8,100 foot Frio sands and four targeted the 7,400 foot Frio sand. These wells have increased production in the field by 100% and have added approximately 300 barrels of oil equivalent per day, 82% of which is oil. This drilling program has met the Company's economic expectations and six additional locations remain to be drilled, all of which are scheduled for later this year. Abraxas owns a 100% working interest in each of these wells.

West Texas

In Nolan County, Texas, the Spires 126 2H recently reached a total measured depth of approximately 9,000 feet, including a 2,000 foot lateral. Completion operations will commence on this well in the near future. Abraxas owns a 100% working interest in this well.
In Coke County, Texas, in the NE Millican Reef field, Abraxas anticipates drilling two vertical delineation wells targeting the Canyon Sand play which is located approximately 30 miles to the southwest of Spires Ranch in the near future. The rig that drilled the Spires Ranch well will move to drill one of these two wells, after which, the rig will return to Spires Ranch for a continual horizontal development program, and assuming favorable results on the first well, the rig will return to NE Millican when convenient to drill the second well. Abraxas owns a 100% working interest in these wells.

In Reeves County, Texas, Abraxas recently acquired 640 net acres, for a total of approximately 3,000 net acres, in the emerging Wolfbone play. Two wells directly adjacent to our acreage are being currently drilled by the industry.

Canada - Pekisko

In Alberta, Canada, production from the Twining 9-11 remains relatively stable at approximately 100 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Two wells offsetting the successful Twining well will be drilled back-to-back, the first of which spudded this week. The two wells will be drilled horizontally and will target the Pekisko formation. Canadian Abraxas owns a 100% working interest in each of these wells.

Comments

"With the expected performance of the Portilla and Twining wells and the recent new production in the Bakken / Three Forks play, we have more than offset production disruptions from wells shut-in in the Williston Basin due to unprecedented high water and flooding. With all of our drilling activity, we should be in a position to continue sequential quarterly production growth for the foreseeable future," commented Bob Watson, Abraxas' President and CEO.

American Standard Extends Presence in Bakken/Three Forks

Tuesday, April 26, 2011
American Standard Energy Corp.

American Standard has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire an additional 11,775 net leasehold acres in the Bakken/Three Forks. The acquired leasehold acreage is located within seven (7) counties widely considered to be the 'fairway' for the Bakken and Three Forks formations; and particularly increases ASEN's holdings in Mountrail, Stark and Williams Counties. This portfolio of leases includes a large number of working interest positions in the 5-15% range, multiple 20% working interests and two at 100%.

Scott Feldhacker, CEO of American Standard Energy Corp. commented, "This is another major acquisition for our company that increases our Bakken/Three Forks holdings to over 31,000 acres and further advances our strategic profile in the region. This major addition to our lease portfolio increases our current revenue and reserve outlooks and also has potential to increase our well count and production rates for 2012. As a result of this acquisition, ASEN will have six controlling interest positions in the Bakken/Three Forks formations available for development or exchange.

This acquisition works to establish a heightened awareness of ASEN as an effective consolidator of lease acreage around, under and within the development path of key operators such as Brigham, Continental, EOG, Whiting and Petro-Hunt; and further qualifies ASEN as a preferred partner for these quality operators."

Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Kodiak O&G Corp.

Kodiak O&G provided an interim corporate update.

Interim Operations Update

Kodiak currently operates a two-rig-drilling program in the Williston Basin and anticipates taking delivery of a third rig within the next two weeks. The Company is currently negotiating to contract a fourth rig for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2011. Additionally, Kodiak controls a 40% to 50% working interest in wells being drilled by a non-operated drilling rig as part of its Dunn County, N.D. area of mutual interest with ExxonMobil.

Bakken/Three Forks Development: McKenzie County, N.D. (37,000 gross and 27,000 net acres) - Bakken producer records initial production (IP) rate of 3,042 BOE/d

The Koala #9-5-6-5H well [Kodiak operated – 95% working interest (WI) /78% net revenue interest (NRI)], an 8,967-foot horizontal lateral, was successfully completed in 24 stages in the middle Bakken Formation. During a 24-hour period, the well recorded production of 2,526 barrels of oil (BO) and 3.10 million cubic feet of natural gas (MMcf), or 3,042 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE). Kodiak completed the 24-hour production test utilizing an average 38/64" choke with average flowing casing pressure of 1,800 psi. Since coming online, the well had cumulative production of 7,340 BO and 7.5 MMcf, or 8,590 BOE in the first five days of production while continuing to recover frac load during well flowback.

Three Forks producer records IP rate of 2,327 BOE/d

The first well completed on the pad, the Koala #9-5-6-12H3 [Kodiak operated – 95% WI/78% NRI], a 9,171-foot horizontal lateral, was successfully completed in 22 stages in the Three Forks Formation. During a 24-hour period, the well recorded production of 1,919 BO and 2.45 MMcf, or 2,327 BOE. Kodiak completed the 24-hour production test utilizing a 36/64" choke with average flowing casing pressure of 1,400 psi. Since coming online, the well had cumulative production of 8,251 BO and 10.57 MMcf, or 10,012 BOE in the first nine days of production while recovering the frac load during well flowback. Koala #9-5-6-12H3 production was temporarily curtailed due to surface facility constraints while completion work on the second well on the pad, the Koala #9-5-6-5H, was completed.

The Three Forks well, the Koala #9-5-6-12H3, was drilled 700 feet from the Bakken well, the Koala #9-5-6-5H, in an ongoing effort to evaluate communication between the middle Bakken and the Three Forks Formation. By successfully completing the Koala #9-5-6-12H3 well, Kodiak now demonstrates the productive potential of the Three Forks Formation as an oil-prone reservoir system on this part of its McKenzie County core operating area.

The Company currently has one well, the Koala #3-2-11-14H, awaiting completion in McKenzie County as part of a two-well pad, and is drilling ahead on the Koala #3-2-11-13H well [both Kodiak operated – 50% WI/41% NRI]. These two well bores are being drilled approximately 1,300 feet apart in the middle Bakken in an effort to test well bore density within the drilling unit. These wells are projected to be completed in the second quarter 2011. Once the well is down, the rig will be moved to drill the Koala #2-25-36-15H [Kodiak operated – 66% WI/53% NRI], the first well of a two-well pad.

Bakken/Three Forks Development: Dunn County, N.D. (56,000 gross and 34,000 net acres) - Drilling and Completion Activity

Kodiak currently has two gross wells (1.0 net) which are expected to be completed in the second quarter 2011. Additionally, Kodiak has drilled and is awaiting completion of three gross wells (1.95 net wells) off of an existing four-well pad, and is currently drilling the final well from the pad, the Skunk Creek (SC) #2-24-25-16H [Kodiak operated – 97% WI/79% NRI]. Completion operations are projected to commence on this four-well pad in the third quarter 2011. Once drilling is completed on the four-well pad, the rig will move to the SC #12-10-11-9H well [Kodiak operated – 97% WI/79% NRI], the first of a two-well pad.

On its non-operated portion of lands in Dunn County, Kodiak has participated in the drilling of two gross wells (1.0 net well) that are currently waiting on completion. Two additional wells are currently being drilled from a two-well pad in which Kodiak has a 50% and 44% WI (41% and 36% NRI).

In conjunction with its first quarter 2011 operational and financial results news release expected to be issued after the close of trading on May 5, 2011, the Company intends to furnish a comprehensive operations update, including its per-well tabular data that includes working interest, net revenue interest, lateral length and 30/60/90/180 and 360-day production rates.

Dedicated Fracture Stimulation Team

The Company has formally executed a two-year agreement with its pressure-pumping service company whereby Kodiak will have a dedicated crew for 14 days per month, reconciled on a quarterly basis, commencing in the third quarter 2011.

Management Comment

Commenting on ongoing operations, Kodiak's President and CEO Lynn A. Peterson said, "Our drilling and completion operations in both McKenzie and Dunn counties continue to move forward. We are very pleased with the results from the two-well pad in McKenzie County, our first two operated wells in this area. The well results are important in that we have now demonstrated the productive potential in the Koala project area for both the middle Bakken and Three Forks Formations. Equally important is that we have drilled these high-working-interest wells in a manner that will allow us to evaluate communication between the two formations, as we obtain additional production history.

"The execution of a formal agreement with our pumping service company should provide continued improvement in the timing of our well completions. Utilization of pad drilling allows for successive completions improving our efficiencies through reduced time for equipment mobilization and demobilization between wells. We look forward to expanding this agreement to include more days as we move into the second half of the year and bring our fourth drilling rig under contract."

Borrowing Base Re-determined at $75 Million

Kodiak also announced that is has completed its semi-annual re-determination of its borrowing base under its $200 million senior secured revolving line of credit facility with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. As a result, the Company's borrowing base has been increased to $75 million from the previously available $50 million. There are currently no borrowings under the facility and Kodiak is in compliance with the financial covenants under the credit facility.

"The increase in our borrowing base is reflective of our continued success in the Williston Basin," said James Henderson, Kodiak's Chief Financial Officer. "Our cash balances, operating cash flow and expanded revolving line of credit provide the Company with liquidity and balance sheet flexibility as we execute on growth-oriented development drilling in 2011 and into 2012."
