Dragon Oil announced the completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/158 development well. The well was completed as a single producer by the NIS rig to a depth of 1,786 meters. The initial test result from the well was 2,876 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"). The NIS rig has skidded to the next slot and is in the process of spudding the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/161 well. The Iran Khazar rig and Rig 40 are currently drilling the Dzheitune (Lam) B/159 and 13/160 wells, respectively.

Dr. Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "I am pleased to report the successful completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/158 well. The Group is currently producing at a healthy rate of above 60,000 bopd, which puts us in a comfortable position to ensure meeting our gross production growth target by the end of the year."

Sea Dragon provided the following update on its operations in Egypt.

NW Gemsa Concession

Al Amir SE#8 Well: The well was spud on May 20, 2011 and successfully drilled to its total depth of 10,750 ft. This is the second of four water injection wells planned for the Al Amir SE water secondary recovery project. Well logs indicate good quality sands in both the Kareem Shagar and Rahmi zones, well suited for water flooding purposes. Pressure measurements indicate that communication exists with other producers in the area. The well was successfully perforated on July 10(th) in the interval 10,404 to 10,432 ft within the Kareem Rahmi interval. The Kareem Shagar Formation will be perforated at a later date.

Geyad-5 Well: The Geyad-5 water injection well was spud on July 23(rd) , 2011 and is currently drilling below 400 ft. The well is expected to reach a total depth of 7,000 ft. and bottom in the Upper Rudeis Formation. This well is located approximately 1.1 km west-south west of Geyad-1X and 2 km of the recently drilled Geyad-3C well. It is targeting the Kareem Formation water leg in the western edge of the field.

Water injection is expected to commence in Q-4, 2011. This marks the beginning of the water flood project which will result in significant increase in recoverable reserves and production levels from the field.

Current production from the Al Amir SE and Geyad fields is running steady at around 8,000 bopd (800 bopd net to Sea Dragon). Cumulative production from the NW Gemsa Concession has now exceeded 5.6 million barrels of 42 degree API Crude oil.

Sea Dragon has a 10% working interest in the NW Gemsa Concession with Vegas at 50%, as operator, and Circle Oil PLC with 40%.

Kom Ombo Concession

Geological, geophysical and engineering work and studies are continuing. The work includes a remapping of the Al Baraka field and exploratory prospects. This work will be complemented by the results of other geotechnical studies now underway to firm up locations for the two exploratory wells and AB-16, AB-17 and AB-18 development wells planned for the fourth quarter, 2011.

Work is underway currently on securing a drilling rig and ancillary services to be mobilized to Kom Ombo and begin operations during the fourth quarter. All tubular and supplies have already been ordered and should be available within the next two months.

Production from the Al Baraka field is approximately 800 bopd (400 bopd net to Sea Dragon).

Sea Dragon has a 50% working Interest and is a joint operator of the Kom Ombo Concession with Dana Gas owning the remaining 50%.

Commenting on the latest developments on the Company's operations in Egypt, Company Chairman and CEO Mr. Said Arrata stated, "We are very pleased with the progress made on drilling the water injection wells in our NW Gemsa Concession. We are looking forward to the commencement of the water flood project and the resulting increase in production. In Kom Ombo, preparation work for the fall drilling season is well underway."

Dragon Oil has recently refitted the previously stacked Rig 40 and commenced drilling on the Dzheitune (Lam) 13 platform. The rig has spudded the Dzheitune (Lam) development well 13/160, the first of four wells planned to be drilled from this platform. Two wells and one sidetrack are expected to be completed by the end of 2011 with the remaining two wells and another sidetrack to be completed in 2012. Later, the Rig 40 will be stacked pending consideration of options for its further use.

Dragon Oil announced the completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) B/157 development well. The Dzheitune (Lam) B/157 well was drilled to a depth of 2,900 meters and completed as a single producer by the Iran Khazar rig. The initial test result from the well was 1,767 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"). The Iran Khazar rig has skidded to the next slot and spudded the Dzheitune (Lam) B/159 well. The NIS rig is currently drilling the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/158 well.

Dr Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We have put into production six wells within the 2011 drilling campaign, having today reported the completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) B/157 development well. We are making good progress on the drilling program and will update the market on the production numbers for the first half of the year on July 21, 2011 in the trading statement."

Dragon Oil announced the completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/156 development well. The Dzheitune (Lam) 28/156 well reached a depth of 2,000 meters and was completed as a single producer by the NIS rig. The initial test result from the well was 3,038 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"). The NIS rig has skidded to the next slot to spud the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/158 well shortly. The Iran Khazar rig is currently drilling the Dzheitune (Lam) B/157 well.

Dr. Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "I am pleased to report the successful completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/156 development well, the fifth well to have been completed within the 2011 drilling program. Dragon Oil announced the completion and initial testing of the Dzheitune (Lam) B/155 development well, the sixth well drilled from the Dzheitune (Lam) B platform. The well was designed as a delineation-development well to reach the furthermost western area of the Dzheitune (Lam) West structure in order to explore the edge of the structure. It was drilled to a depth of 2,800 meters and completed on a dual production basis by the Iran Khazar rig. The well crossed several oil bearing sands with good results in some pay sections. The initial combined test result from the well was 783 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"), with an initial rate of 611 bopd from the short string and 172 bopd from the long string. A full review of the data is being undertaken with further testing and optimization scheduled to take place. The results from this well are being used to update our geological modeling scenarios and, hence, future drilling plans in that area of the field.

The Iran Khazar rig has skidded to the next slot and spudded the Dzheitune (Lam) B/157 well; while the NIS rig is currently drilling the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/156 well.

Dr. Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "The Dzheitune (Lam) B/155 well crossed several oil bearing sands with good results in some pay sections and provided us with data on the most western area of the Dzheitune (Lam) structure. The results from this well do not affect our stated production growth guidance for 2011 of up to 20%. The next well to come into production will be the Dzheitune (Lam) 28/156 development well."
